Nice amenities, well-decorated, and clean facility. Have now stayed there two different occasions - both time was the 1st guest in the rooms I was in. They also had a good variety of movies to borrow. They have hikes, tie-dye craft shirts for souvenirs, etc. Last but not least, they have activities that you can participate in for a small fee. The room had such special final touches, bows with the towels, even with the cookware in the dishwasher ready for us. We really loved the layout of the rooms and made it feel like we had our own home even though it was a hotel room. The value that we got was so great I feel like we really hit the jackpot on this one. There were barbecues everywhere, corn hole, ping-pong, the pool was clean and a good temperature, and the hot tub was super hot which I really loved at the end of a long day hiking. There was someone behind their serving so that you didn’t have to worry about germs. We loved loved loved the breakfast room and we appreciated that it wasn’t a buffet with tongs and everybody grabbing what they wanted. They always had fresh warm popcorn, and frequently had yummy cookies up for grabs. Each person working at the front desk was personable and you could tell they really enjoyed working there. What I didn’t realize was that there was such a wonderful family vibe there. I chose it because it had a hot tub, decent reviews, and I liked the fact that they had movies and popcorn for the guests. I did a lot of research before selecting this hotel for my family. As IHG employee member I know what we supposed to give to a guest. Not even an apologize for the situation -Phones in the room both not working -No IHG recognition - No name tags I was very disappointing of my stay in this hotel. She just told him to tell us there’s nothing they can do. Staff at the front desk asked for help to the manager on the phone but she didn’t even came out. They didn’t have coffee creamer when I asked for at checked in -No pancakes machine (it was off ) (I know this pancakes machine are part of the whole IHG experience ) - Asked for extra pillow and they told me they don’t have any - Water on the whole building was off for hours, I understand that can happen but at least a guest expect a notification or a warning that water will be shut down (NO WARNINGS AND NOTIFICATION ) - No managers around, staff didn’t even know how to print a receive. I was expecting more from IHG brand as Im part of it as an employee and I know they definetely not following any of the standards I have been training for.
